In Greece we follow the sizes of Europe. To find our number it is enough to measure in centimeters (cm) our foot from the heel to the tip of our big toe with a ruler or a meter exactly as shown in the diagram above (2).
Then looking at the first chart (1), you can easily and quickly find your number. If, for example, your foot is 23.5 cm (cm), then your number is 38.

Shoes: When buying a new leather shoe, it will be good to base on whether the length of the shoe is right and not on its width, ie on the sides, as the skin softens and takes on the shape of the foot. So, if you feel the shoe is narrow at the sides, there is no reason to get a larger number because the skin will stretch at this point according to the pressure exerted by the foot from the inside. As a reference to the length, it is advisable not to rest your toes on the front of the shoe or in case they do touch, to be stretched and not bent.

Sandals: When buying leather sandals, it should be good for the foot to step inside the bottom of the sandal and not to deviate more than one centimeter (1cm) from the length of the sole and the length of the sandal. The upper bouts featured two cutaways, for easier access to the higher frets, and the lower bouts featured two cutaways, for easier access to the higher frets.
